Kelly D. Burdette

Kelly has been practicing law for 12 years, after spending 8 years as a paralegal. She is experienced in every aspect of the legal process from start to finish, including mediation, arbitration and trial.

As a vaccine injury attorney, Kelly represents claimants across the entire country.  As a resident of the small mountain town of North Bend in Washington, Kelly also serves the Valley as general counsel for small businesses, and practices family law, estate planning, property, and personal injury law.

Those who know her appreciate that she’s always willing to review a legal problem over the phone and give referrals to other attorneys in the Valley. If she doesn’t provide the service you’re looking for, she probably knows who does.

Kelly was born and raised in the Seattle area and moved to North Bend in 2016. Being an active member of the Keep it Local business organization gives her a perspective on the core values of the Snoqualmie Valley–allowing her to be an effective legal advocate for her clients and community.

Like Abraham Lincoln, Kelly learned about law by reading. Rather than attending law school, Kelly was a Rule 6 Law Clerk. As a clerk, she worked full-time as a paralegal and in her spare time, she studied the law on her own with a mentor. The Rule 6 Program is a four-year program and is operated by the Washington State Bar Association.

Prior to beginning her career in the law, Kelly worked as the Project Director for the Washington State Community Action Partnership, which is a non-profit organization working on behalf of 30 non-profit organizations across Washington helping low-income individuals and families. Kelly earned her paralegal certificate as well as her undergraduate degree from the University of Washington.

Kelly is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association (KCBA), and the Washington State Association for Justice (WSAJ). She served on the Public Affairs Committee for WSAJ, the Development Committee for WSAJ, and was the chair of the Seattle Round Table for WSAJ. She serves on the Lawyer Referral Service for the KCBA and is a volunteer for the KCBA Family Law Mentorship Program.

Kelly also serves at Mount Si High School as a member of the Business and Marketing Advisory Board and was a member of the Rotary Club of Snoqualmie Valley.
